I am in LOVE with this behind the scenes video featuring makeup artist, Tom Pecheux. Tom Pecheux is the new Creative Makeup Director for Estee Lauder (you’ll notice he is only using Estee Lauder products in the video) and he is amazing!
In most behind the scenes videos, we are only shown a small glimpse into the makeup room; this one, on the other hand, is all about it! Watch Tom create several different looks on model, Constance Jablonski for Paris Vogue’s September 2010 issue!! It’s long, which only makes it that much better.
Urban Decay is selling on Hautelook today for up to 75% off! Unfortunately, this is a rather small sale, but the deals are really good!
Pick up eyeshadows for $4.50, loose pigments for $5 or eyeliners for $3.50! They were selling Primer Potion for only $4.50 but they ran out before I could get a chance to buy one grrr
Check Out the Sale HERE
**Hautelook is a website which hosts private, online sales. It’s similar to GiltGroup. You have to register to see/buy from the sale, but I have bought from them in the past and they are totally legit Past beauty sales have included Eve Pearl, Laura Mercier, CoverFX etc.
Several weeks ago, I was fortunate to work with Style File Daily (love them!) again for their “One to Watch” category. This time, we shot upcoming actress, Haley Ramm. Haley’s new movie “Bond of Silence” just premiered on Lifetime last night! She was so cute and nice; and why do actresses have way better skin than models?? Her skin was amazing. So easy

Check out Hautelook today for 70% off of Stila products! They have a bunch of cute sets for cheap, eyeshadow and blushes are $7, smudge pots are going for $8, lip glazes are $9 and that’s just the beginning. Sometimes these Hautelook sales have products that people don’t really want (probably the reason why they sell for so cheap), but this one actually has some super legit stuff. 3 pages worth of deals!

Dolce and Gabbana’s Fall 2010 makeup ad campaign, featuring Scarlett Johansson are out! Scarlett is looking much more vampy compared to last season’s, Marilyn Monroe inspired ads. I love the deep purple lips Pat McGrath chose to give her!
To Get the Same Lip Look: Pat used Dolce and Gabbana’s Amethyst Classic Cream Lipstick with Amethyst ultra Shine Lipgloss on top!
Makeup Artist: Pat McGrath
Hair Stylist: Oribe

I love that they’re shooting a Dolce and Gabbana makeup ad but on Pat’s facechart (1:00), she has MAC Coffee Eye Pencil, MAC Taupe Blush, and Cargo’s Reverse Liner. haha.
OMG this editorial featuring Lara Stone for W Magazine’s September 2010 issue is gorgeous!! I love Lara Stone, and she is rocking that blue eyeshadow!!
::Sigh:: What I would give to shoot a model with a gap..

LOVE, the bi-annual fashion magazine, has finally released all eight covers of their Fall/Winter issue. I am in love with them all and the makeup and hair is stunning.

Gisele Bundchen looks amazing on her cover! Her bleached eyebrows, chiseled cheekbones and perfectly nude lips are to die for.
Worlds different than how we’re used to seeing her on the Victoria Secret runway, Alessandra Ambrosio is proving that she can do much more than model lingerie. I love the no eyebrow look on her!!
Megan Fox’s Transformers 3 replacement, Rosie Huntington Whiteley definitely earns her “Siren” title with this cover! This has to be my favorite. She pulls off the pin-up look flawlessly.
This cannot be Sienna Miller!! I seriously stared at this picture for a minute straight and I just don’t believe it. I need proof. haha Either way, she looks incredible.
Which is Your Favorite Cover?
After many requests to find out what nail polish Rachel Bilson is wearing in her September 2010 issue of UK InStyle, I’ve finally got the scoop Earlier today, Rachel’s manicurist for the shoot, let me in on the colors she used!
“Both of the colors are from the fall collection from Chanel. The one on the cover is Rouge Fatal, and inside is Paradoxal. Definitely the new must have shades.”
-Ashlie Johnson- Manicurist for Rachel Bilson’s InStyle Shoot. Check out Ashlie’s other incredible work HERE
For the cover, Ashlie applied Chanel’s Le Vernis in Rouge Fatal. This Autumn red will launch in October 2010.
On the inside spread, Ashlie used Chanel Le Vernis in Paradoxal, a dark grey-violet. Chanel names this polish “the new statement maker of the season.”
Last Thursday, Pantene Pro-V spokeswoman, Gisele Bundchen, announced that Proctor and Gamble (one of the world’s largest consumer goods manufacturers) will be making some eco-friendly changes to their packaging.
Instead of slow degrading petroleum based plastic, P&G is switching to renewable Brazilian sugarcane!! Pantene Pro-V, Max Factor and Covergirl will all get be getting an environmentally friendly makeover using this innovative process which transforms sugarcane into high density polyethylene plastic, which is 100% recyclable.
