Thakoon

The bold, neon eyes at Thakoon’s show yesterday looked amazing on the runway! Makeup artists used a combination of orange, pink and red on the eyes while keeping the rest of the face very neutral and fresh. All makeup by NARS.

I’m loving all the full, natural brows we’ve been seeing this season! At Monique Lhuillier, makeup artists gave the models a plum smokey eye and soft, rosy lips. All makeup by MAC.

I love how nontraditional the makeup at Marc Jacobs was yesterday. Francois Nars applied a cream blush (Lokoum by NARS) from the apple of the cheek, downward. Black liner was applied thick and then angled down as well. All makeup by NARS.

Jenny Packham

At Jenny Packham, Temptu Pro’s S/B concealer wheel was used to even out the model’s complexions, and then highlights were added for extra glow (using Temptu’s S/B highlighters). The cheeks were flushed with a peach blush and the lips were stained with apricot lipstick. One of my favorite looks of the day, SO pretty!! All makeup by Temptu.

Katie Gallagher

Makeup artist, Javier Romero designed a super interesting and avant garde look for Katie Gallagher this season. The eyes were painted black , and a textures applique was glued on top. All makeup by MAC.

Carlos Miele

The models at Carlos Miele looked so fresh and sophisticated. The skin was glowing and the eyes were softly defined with brown shadows. To finish up the look, the inner corners of the eyes were highlighted with a touch of gold shadow. All makeup by Maybelline.

Pamella Roland

At Pamella Roland, key makeup artist Matin gave the model’s a vibrant red lip using Laura Mercier’s Sangria lipstick. Matte skin and a slightly exaggerated winged liner completed the look. All makeup by Laura Mercier.

Donna Karan

The glossy skin at Donna Karan was to die for!! Charlotte Tilbury used MAC’s strobe cream on the skin for the dewey effect, and then applied a gloss to the cheekbones and on the eyes. On the eyes, MAC Pro’s Sepia Cream Color Base was blended around the entire eye. The lips were made a soft pink. All makeup by MAC.

New York Fashion Week A/W 2011- Day 4
Yoana Baraschi

Bold eyes at Yoana Baraschi! Models wore two toned eyeshadow; a pinkish violet on the lid, and a deeper, reddish-fuchia blended on top and into the crease. All makeup by MAKE UP FOREVER

I LOVE THIS MAKEUP! Charlotte Tillbury and her team highlighted Victoria Beckham’s models to perfection using Lancome’s Éclat Miracle illuminator. All makeup by Lancome.

Tory Burch

The look at Tory Burch is natural, yet very pulled together. The brows are full, eyes slightly defined and flush of color on the cheeks. All makeup by MAC.

Lela Rose

The look at Lela Rose is very retro, from the makeup to the 40′s hair. The model’s top lashes were given several coats of mascara, while the lips were painted a gorgeous shade of burgundy. All makeup by Stila.

Diane Von Furstenberg

I love the bright red lips seen on Diane Von Furstenberg’s runway yesterday! In order for the lips to remain the statement feature, Kaliardos and his team kept the rest of the makeup pretty minimal. They blended a greyish shadow on the outer “V” of the eye and applied a few coats of mascara. All makeup by MAC.

Alexander Wang

Love, love, love the super full brows at Alexander Wang! The lips were kept nude and the eyes were slightly smudged with grey and black for a “slept in” type of look. All makeup by MAC.

New York Fashion Week A/W 2011- Day 3
Vivenne Tam

Matte skin and dusty rose cheeks were all over the Vivenne Tam runway yesterday. Makeup artists drew black liner on the upper eyelid, which thickened out and winged upward at the outer corner of the eye. Individual false lashes were applied in a cluster at the outer edge of the eye. All makeup by Maybelline.

Prabal Gurung

At the Prabal Gurung show, grey eyeshadow was blended into the inner corner of the model’s eyes from the eyebrow, and along the bridge of the nose. A rose lipstick finished up the look. All makeup by MAC.

Maisonette 1977

I love this look from the Maisonette 1977 Presentation! Super matte skin and smoked out eyes. The eyebrows were erased and black shadow was blended underneath the browbone. The lips look like they were neutralized with a touch of concealer.

At the Charlotte Ronson show, a soft burgundy was applied to the model’s eyelids while the lower lashlines were defined with a hint of brown liner. Their skin was given a dewey finish and the lips were kept nude.

Charlotte Tilbury and her team gave the models at Jill Stuart golden-bronze smokey eyes. The inner corners of their eyes were highlighted with pale gold and the lips were stained with a bright coral/orange.

A very simple, yet super chic look was spotted on ADAM’s runway yesterday. A thin black line of liquid eyeliner was applied to the upper lid and flicked out into a sharp wing. All makeup by MAC.

I love the skin at Rebecca Minkoff, it looks so fresh! Makeup artists applied Stila’s Convertible Color in Gerbera to the cheeks and the eyes were lined, and slightly winged out with a soft black pencil. All makeup by Stila.

Peter Som

The makeup at Peter Som was, for the most part, very clean. Except for that unusual lip color! Tom Pecheux and his team gave the models red lips, and then layered several iridescent pigments on top. All makeup by MAC.

Nicole Miller

A swipe of greyish-brown was applied to the model’s eyelids and blended outward, slightly past the eye. The rest of the face was left clean and lips were painted a very pale peach. All makeup by MAC.

Rich, bronze smokey eyes were the focus of the makeup at Cynthia Rowley. Makeup artists blended brown and bronze shadows around the entire eye. Such a pretty look for Fall (not that we’re approaching Fall anytime soon

The models walking in Rebecca Taylor’s show were given warm, bronzed eyes and glossy, berry colored lips. All makeup by MAC.

It’s all about the eyes at Jason Wu! Dramatic, dark eyeshadow was pulled out past the model’s eyes in a Cleopatra-esque shape. In the center of the lid, gold glitter was applied for that unexpected pop. The cheeks and lips were defined with a soft, peachy neutral. All makeup by MAC.

Super neutral look at the Richard Chai show. The model’s cheekbones were sculpted and MAC’s Electra silver eyeshadow was swept across the lid. All products by MAC.

At Nicholas K, the model’s eyes were rimmed with black gel eyeliner, and a taupe shadow was blended into the crease. The brows were filled in for a very full look and the lips were completely erased.

Armani Privé S/S 2011 Haute Couture

Makeup Artist, Linda Cantello was the key artist for Armani Prive’s S/S 2011 Haute Couture Show in Paris yesterday. She and her team gave the models sculpted, full brows, deep plum lips and attached a small rhinestone at the corner of the bottom lip.

Yesterday, Christian Dior presented his S/S 2011 Haute Couture Collection in Paris and as always, the makeup and hair is killer.
