New Beauty Launches
As a huge fan on bronzer, luminous skin and anything Tom Ford, it’s as if this Summer 2013 collection was made for me. Tom Ford Beauty’s limited edition, nine-piece collection was released on May 1, 2013 and is the perfect (and expensive) way to give yourself that summer glow.
The collection consists of:
Cream Color for Eyes ($40)
Escapade- Pearlized Peach
Pink Haze- Pink with peach tones and gold pearl
Illuminating Cheek Color ($58)
Blush Guilt- Natural, radient glow
Bronzed Amber- Natural, radient glow
Lip Laquer ($30)
Pink Lust- Light Pink with gold pearl
Skin Illuminator ($65)
Fire Lust – Shimmering peach-pink
Bronzing Powder ($90)
Gold Dust- Blend of sunstone, amber, black tourmaline crystals; shimmer finish
Terra- Blend of sunstone, amber, black tourmaline crystals; matte finish
Nail Laquer ($30)
Vapor- Semi opaque white lacquer
If I’m going to pay $90 for a bronzer, it better come with a cabana boy and a strawberry daiquiri.
House star, Hugh Laurie has just landed an unexpected role as L’Oreal’s new celebrity spokesman for the brand’s Men Expert line. Cyril Chapuy, global brand president of L’Oréal Paris describes the actor as”the perfect example of a modern man: genuine, uninhibited, strong and willing to pursue his passions to the end.”
Laurie, on the other hand admits that he “thought L’Oreal’s decision was “a mistake” but then, “realised that L’Oréal wasn’t looking for models, but real people with strong personalities, who are worth it … and who aren’t afraid to proclaim that using cosmetics can be a very masculine decision after all.”
Tom Ford is launching a full cosmetics collection!
Ford tells WWD that he loves a strong eye and mouth for night, as well has full eyebrows (“the key to a youthful look”) and that’s exactly the direction makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury went while doing the ad campaigns.
In addition to creating the line, Ford also appears in the ads alongside Ms. Stone (who looks gorgeous btw!!).
“I’m not in the ads because I’m vain,” Ford tells WWD “A lot of people still don’t know who I am, and the product sells better with me in the ads.”
The 132 piece collection will be sold in high end stores such as Bergdorf Goodman as well as some Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue locations.
The collection looks amazing and the packaging is beautiful but with a price range from $30-$250, we’re not sure if we’ll be able to afford it.
What do you think??
Half of me is really excited because this could be so good while my rational, other half is already disappointed..

Constance Jablonski, Joan Smalls and Liu Wen are looking fresh faced and “illluminated” in the new set of ads for Estee Lauder’s Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator. The campaign called Every Woman Can Be Beautiful celebrates the diversity of women as well as their product which has been “proven effective in all skintones.”

If you’ve ever wanted to look like you have a contagious disease festering on your lips, you’re in luck! Violent Lips is a new product which can do just that.
Instead of swiping on 1 single boring color, you can now tattoo your lips with various designs such as cheetah, roses and leopard print. The tattoos are temporary and last 4-8 hours, enough time to ignite some rumors that you are actively culturing a virus on your pucker.
Each package of decals comes with 3 applications and cost $14.95
What Do You Think? Would You Wear Lip Tattoos?
Gwen looks amazing in this sneak peek video of her new L’Oreal ad. Can’t wait to see the commercial!!
Amanda Seyfried is looking gorgeous in her very first beauty campaign for makeup line, Cle de Peau! The ads were shot by photographer David Sims with makeup by Lucia Pieroni, the color creator of Cle De Peau. Check out a couple sneak peeks of the campaign!
“Amanda’s radiance and sophisticated style are the perfect embodiment of Cle de Peau Beaute. Her beautiful persona and her commitment to giving back exemplify the Cle de Peau Beaute ideal and we are thrilled to have her representing our brand.”

Last April we discovered that Rihanna was the latest celeb to sign a perfume deal with Parlux Fragrances. Although Reb’l Fluer is not due in stores until next month, photos of the highly anticipated perfume are slowing starting to be released.
Reb’l Fleur contains notes of tuberose, violet and hibiscus with a touch of coconut water, and the elegant bottle was designed in the shape of a stiletto.
Will You Be Purchasing Reb’l Fleur by Rihanna?
In August we discovered that Megan Fox was set to replace Laura Stone as the face of Armani Beauty. This week, Armani released their new video “The Face of Beauty” featuring the actress.
She looks stunning, as expected.
Also, check out the behind the scenes video which, in my opinion, is much more interesting
