New York Fashion Week A/W 2011- Day 5
Thakoon

The bold, neon eyes at Thakoon’s show yesterday looked amazing on the runway! Makeup artists used a combination of orange, pink and red on the eyes while keeping the rest of the face very neutral and fresh. All makeup by NARS.

Monique Lhuillier

I’m loving all the full, natural brows we’ve been seeing this season! At Monique Lhuillier, makeup artists gave the models a plum smokey eye and soft, rosy lips. All makeup by MAC.
Key Makeup Artist: Val Garland
Marc Jacobs

I love how nontraditional the makeup at Marc Jacobs was yesterday. Francois Nars applied a cream blush (Lokoum by NARS) from the apple of the cheek, downward. Black liner was applied thick and then angled down as well. All makeup by NARS.

Jenny Packham

At Jenny Packham, Temptu Pro’s S/B concealer wheel was used to even out the model’s complexions, and then highlights were added for extra glow (using Temptu’s S/B highlighters). The cheeks were flushed with a peach blush and the lips were stained with apricot lipstick. One of my favorite looks of the day, SO pretty!! All makeup by Temptu.

Katie Gallagher

Makeup artist, Javier Romero designed a super interesting and avant garde look for Katie Gallagher this season. The eyes were painted black , and a textures applique was glued on top. All makeup by MAC.

The models at Carlos Miele looked so fresh and sophisticated. The skin was glowing and the eyes were softly defined with brown shadows. To finish up the look, the inner corners of the eyes were highlighted with a touch of gold shadow. All makeup by Maybelline.

Donna Karan

The glossy skin at Donna Karan was to die for!! Charlotte Tilbury used MAC’s strobe cream on the skin for the dewey effect, and then applied a gloss to the cheekbones and on the eyes. On the eyes, MAC Pro’s Sepia Cream Color Base was blended around the entire eye. The lips were made a soft pink. All makeup by MAC.
